Flowmaster Super 44 Installed!

I just got back from the muffler shop... I had a Flowmaster Super 44 installed, 3" in dual 2.5" out, exiting in stock locations behind the rear wheels. My truck is a 2005 4X4 XLT, 5.4L.

It sounds great... no droning, sounds incredible when I step on it.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the sound! Very low sound, never gets high and raspy.

Just thought I'd share with everyone on the fence about this muffler.

Of course, it sounds much better in person and under a load. I'll have to get some video of me taking off sometime.

I have a feeling its going to be a while until I turn on the radio! The exhaust sound is fantastic!

Edited: Here is the link for the video clip with the new tips installed. See if you can hear the difference...

Do they really make that much of a difference in sound?

not HUGE difference but it will be noticeably louder. They amplify the sound, plus it makes your exhaust look a lot cleaner. Give it 4 months and those pipes will turn brown. Put some chrome or stainless tips on there
