The 4.6 only shows 03-07. Did the filter change from 07 to 08? I have been meaning to get one of these. Might as well do it now.

I looked for an S&B drop in for 97-03 (4.6L) but couldn't find one. Am i just not looking in the right place? Does the S&B have a certain milage warranty, like the K&N?

Thanks

Cody

IT is an oiled filter. Why are you looking for a dry element specifically?

due to problems sometimes experienced by using oiled filters, the oil ends up messing up the MAF and is a pain to fix...ive had the drop in K&N in the past...might just go back to that again if all else fails

The messed up MAF sensor is due to improper oiling, and the fix to that is to take out the MAF sensor and spray it with some electrical or MAF sensor cleaner. I personally feel the oiled filters do better than the dry, but that is my personal feeling.
