Yep, took about that long for mine to start sounding like I was hoping for... and mine at least has gotten even a bit deeper and louder since then..

Mine seemed to take about 6k miles before it settled on the sound.. It's freakin' perfect now... just wait a few more miles, you'll be even happier..
