exhaust out the side or back?

I can't decide if I want the exhaust dumping out behind the back tires or going out the back. I like both ways. HELP?

Some pics would be nice. Thanks..

Here's mine... Corsa dumping out behind the wheel...

If you decide to go behind the wheel, I recommend some sort of mudflaps to protect the tips. Unless you have time to clean it non-stop. After a couple months of winter driving mine was filthy so I just installed some DuraFlaps and then spent a couple hours cleaning and polishing the Corsa tip.

I like both the side and rear exhaust... so I can't recommend either... but hopefully the picture will help

I had mine going out the back and then switched them to going out each side behind the tires. You can here it a little bit better going out the sides.

It's all just personal preference as to what you would like. I prefer out the sides, but that is because I go off-roading in my truck. The reason I say that is because I can't tell you how many times i've had friends climbing up hills in their trucks, and come backing down them....with the exhaust going straight out the back, they can dig into the ground and get ripped right off. If you're not going to go off road, take them straight out the back....then you don't have to worry about keeping the tips clean. Like I said....personal preference

Get them out the sides... Straight back just makes me think of the 50 gajillion Chevies that have the pipes going straight out the back

When I diverted from stock the first time I had duel 5 1/2 inch by 24 inch rolled chrome tubes straight out the back under the hitch, looked good until they started to rust, and then I put a body lift on and they hung so low it didn't look right. My biggest beef with them being out the back was hooking up the sled trailer in the winter and sucking on fumes the whole time, plus in the winter my whole tailgate was always covered in frost. Right now I have 45's out behind the tires, looks good but I just got my magnaflow cat-back and it is straight out the back again, but in Vancouver I really don't have Winters anymore so, to each there own, I like 'em both ways.

Personally, I prefer them coming out the back. Here is a pic with my Magnaflows!

Side exit behind both wheels looks awesome. I had my Chevys pipes out the sides too with MAgnaflow 4x12 tips ( wish 18" length was available at the time though.. ) So my Chevys not the average Chevy
