Cherry Bomb

hey everyone,

just wondering if anyone can give me any opinions on cherry bomb exhaust.

right now i just have the OEM pipe cut right before the muffler, so its loud. and im thinking of just putting a cherry bomb muffler on and dumping it right after the muffler, sound right?

thanks

Got a Cherry Bomb Vortex I'll sell you for $30 + shipping. Had it on my 4Runner for 5K. Sounds good.

I personally dont like CherryBomb products but they are alright. Sound good on V6s too.

Definately go with the extreme muffler to keep it loud.. Thats what i got in a SI/DO setup and it sounds great!! I think it is time for a true dual setup for me though lol

The guy who did my exhaust this morning said cherrybomb is a waste of money. After the glass inside burns out, it is so free flowing you might as well go straight pipes. I wanted straights anyway but considered putting on a muffler. Glad I did'nt.

it depends on where your at in tucson you cant run straight pipes beacuse of noise ordanance but if you have cherry bombs the glass burns out you have a legal straight pipe system with no ticket (60$ for two cherry bombs vs. 120$ per offence straight)

The Cherry Bomb Pro and Extreme are baffled like a Flowmaster so no glass to burn out. The local Meineke shop owner uses the Cherry Bomb Extremes on the exhaust systems he does and his V10 F-250 sounds awesome with it.

Cherry Bombs and other glasspcks sound great. Very mellow. However, they will cost you quite a bit of power as compared to more recent muffler designs.

Go with SLP Loud Mouth exhaust. They use resonators that sound great, at least they did on my 04 Mustang GT. I'm thing about taking off my Gibson Super truck exhaust and going with SLP. Maybe a true duel with 2 resonators dumping out the bottom.
