i got a 04 supercab fx4 and want to do something with the cats. i was thinking about cutting just 2 of them off or all 4. only thing is im scared that if i cut all 4 it wont sound that great idk.


my exhuast set up is true dual super 44 with an H-Pipe close to the cats and the mufflers r right next to my rear axle.

 

take all 4 off and replace them with 2 Magnaflow cats

Sounds like a good setup. My Silverado has the same system, but its got the Hi-Flow cats. It sounds amazing I love it. I suggest you go that route with the cats, replace all 4 with 2 Magnaflows. It will remain with the same tone, just turns the volume up much more!
