Question JBA exhaust

Has anyone put a jba on a newer F150? I am wondering what kind of gains should be expected?

Jba

Sorry! I am talking about their exhaust system! My options are single in dual out, or single in single out.

One of the members on here put on the JBA shorty headers and catback SI/DO exhaust and dyno'd something like a 17 HP gain or so. He has a 4.6 too.

Never heard or ran their Exhaust systems just their headers. I suggest Borla or Magnaflow. Whether you choose SI/DO or SI SO depends on the look you want.

Thumbs up Jba

Yeah i originally wanted to go with roush. I have been Dealing with Crystal of Troyer Performance and the only exhaust made for a supercab long box seems to be the JBA, so i guess i am going to have to go for it. Thanks for the info!

I have a JBA, well a K&N actually made by JBA, same thing, stainless, less money. I LOVE IT. Great sound for having a si/so 3" with 3.5" polished tip. I think I felt a slight increase, but who cares. The sound is nice, not overbearing. It will compliment the long tube headers I am buying nicely. Borat "high fiiive" on their exhausts.

I have the same SI/SO JBA setup. It is pretty and sounds very nice. I have a little drone at 70, but thats because the Vagina 3.08 rear end has me sitting at 1700 rpm. At 2100 it sounds sweet! I think I may have actually lost a little low end but there is a significant gain on the highway when you step on it. Mine was stupid cheap too! I think I got it for under $200 shipped to my door!

JBA exhaust

I haven't ordered it yet but I have been dealing with Troyer Performance about it... but I have talked to other dealers about an 07 F150 s/c long box but they say that there is no exhaust available for it.. so I am confused?? I don't want to have it ordered, shipped and not have it work for me.

What has troyer performance told to you about it? As far as the 6.5 box screw there are people that have exhaust kits for them, but when my friend bought a used exhaust for his 06 6.5 screw I think the only thing he had to do was by a piece of 3" stainless piping and welded it in before the muffler.

Exactly, I love driving at about 80-85 mph, she sings nice there but 1800-2300 I guess is a droney sound which I like. I can't wait to see what headers add to this. I got mine from www.paulshp.com but picked it up as they are kinda local. It was just shy of 400 for it, and like I said, it's stainless. The actual JBA was 100 more this is a K&N version, the difference was the etching on the tip for the corresponding company, that's it.

Jba

I was looking for a roush exhaust originally, but troyer told me the only exhaust they can get made for my truck is the JBA! When i called a shop up here they told me JBA doesn't make one for my truck configuration! So other than that they haven't said anything. So i don't know what to get i can't find anything through any local dealers. Nobody up here has a freakin clue so i am going to call troyer once more to make absolutely sure it fits. I don't want to **** around with it once i get it.
