I have the AF1 3" with TP tunes. I found while towing my trailer the intake while it may have helped out also helped me loose some more hearing. It is a nicer noise than the Airaid that I had but it is still there. While on a 6 hour driving day in all conditions, mountains and prairies it is anoying just the same. I liked it alot until I had a long tow day when the truck was working and now maybe not so much. I am going back to stock intake and TP tunes and i'll see what happens.
Who knows maybe I'll reconsider of buy a diesel.

You do know the stock intake is about the biggest bottleneck in the history of trucks...lol that's why they pick up so much power with just about any aftermarket intake (especially compared to gains of other trucks). Go back to stock and then tow and you'll definiately be buying a diesel.
