Straight Pipes

Hi everybody! I just got a question about the duals on my truck! The day after I bought it two weeks ago I went and had duals put on the truck. I am disappointed in how loud they are. This is the setup I had done. The muffler was taken off and I had 2.5" pipe coming back just before the rear axle and had it y'ed off into 2 1/4" inch pipe 45'ed into 3.5x22in tips! It has a nice deep tone and doesn't get raspy at all at the higher rpm's but it's not very loud at all even though I don't have a muffler. Does anyone know what I can do to make them louder without have to get my exhaust true dualed or getting a whole new exhaust done? I have an 04 5.4 F150! Thanks!

I would have put the "Y" right on the CAT. That is surprising though. Normally when I do these setups, they are purdy darn loud. I use 2.5 inch pipe (no 2.25 at all), the "Y" on the cat and 4.5 inch tips.
