I'll try to get one later this week or this weekend for ya!! I used to have true duels with flowmasters and i prefer the sound of the maggies. I am not sure what your exit is but mine is considerably louder than a system with an exit. I cut everything off right after the mufflers

my truck has an xlerator single inlet dual exit muffler on it and when your just cruising along you can have a conversation inside and when you stomp it the sounds all there and if it needs to be louder just put high flow cats in it.the muffler is a flowmaster look alike and everythings the same inside and out but its made with better quality and still has a lifetime warrenty.

Show me a muffler that flows better than my straight pipes and I'll replace them.

Seriously though, 2.25" true duals with an x-pipe... Sound great and nice power.

i personally dont think magna flows are that loud. I would either go with flowmasters or straight pipes.. my 40 series flowmasters i use to have were not that loud at all but you could still be noticed when you stomp on it. but i like getting noticed far away thats why i have the 10 series single muffler

you sacrifice power for that sound when you go with "Slo"Masters though

honeslty i disagree my friend has the same truck as me with magnaflow and when i had my 40 series it was a good bit louder when driving around town and flooring it. and the power gains are not significant enough to cut out good sound.

little off topic, but I was wondering what the best diameter of exaust to get. Im not sure what they run stock (04 5.4) I have seen 3" systems when I looked. Are our truck 2.5" rom the factory? It just seems like 3" would be a little too big..?

none. magnaflow's 14" magnapack, their loudest muffler, is not quite as loud as a 40 series.

Now, put some high-flow cats and some headers on, then your maggie will wake up.

I think you are deaf!

I took off my 40 for a 50 and after it rotted out in 6 months my mechanic picked up the truck and I could hear him drive it away down the block plenty....

The 40 droned too much.

Ok thanks mine exits out lightning style before the tire 3.5 inch tips. My had flows on his 02 gt and he switched to magnapacks and I like the fact that they are deep but they crack too.

3" is fine for a single exhaust but true duals you would want either 2.25 or 2.5
