Getting exhaust done tomorrow, WHICH MUFFLER TO GET?

I'm going in to get my truck done tomorrow and I don't know what to get. My dad worked out a deal for both our trucks done so it's getting done tomorrow. It sounds like he can get any type of muffler in there so this is where you guys come in.

I'd like a muffler that gives me a nice rumble at idle, people can hear it when I get on the throttle, and give me the most performance. I don't want it to sound like straight pipes on a Harley though.

I NEED ANSWERS QUICK!

true duals w/ 12" dynomax bullets. if you cant get bullets, get the 14" Magnaflow magnapacks.

i agree, get true duals some mufflers if you dont want really loud. Remember, the smaller the muffler, the louder it will be.

You might try some 15"-18" glasspacks, they sound pretty good.

Are the dynomax's good for performance, or mainly just for sound?

probably one of the best mufflers out there for performance. they are a straight through design with only a 4" diameter and available 12" length, which is short, and curved corners. There isnt much room for exhaust to escape or change directions. They are cheap too, im going to switch to them over the holidays for sure.

When you say magnaflow which one is the most powerful, but also the loudest. I'd sacrafice some performance for sound.

With Magnaflow you will not sacrifice power for sound, even with the smallest you will not lose performance. 11" or 14"

Magnaflow or Dynomax are both good. Get the 4 inch diameter Magnaflow in the shortest you can find. I have 14 inch case length and i'm not sure if they make them shorter??

14's.......but get shorter if they make them.

Another vote for Magnaflow! I went with the 12268 and I'm very happy with it. Here's a link:
