what cherry bomb are you putting on? Glass Packs or the muffler series they have out now. I have a cherry bomb pro muffler. its alright. but i would deff go with true dual glasspacks

I guess you don't like keeping your low-end torque very much, eh?

If it isn't doggy now ( and I'll bet it already is), it will be.

How many O2's do you plan on 'eliminating' ? And why on earth do you think this is a good idea?

And - what's with that paperweight tb spacer - don't you realize it's junk?

Search for the real scoop on the above.

well right now im running open pipes with one set of cat so im eliminating the cats and putting on the cherry bombs im using the mil eliminators if i can find them to take car of the o2's if i cant find them ill weld the bungs into the pipe no big deal the point of the mil eliminators is that it sends the perfect signal to the computer constantly

So - you are removing ALL of your O2's ? Sorry, your expanation wasn't clear.

If so, how do you plan on controlling your A/F's?

BTW - all a MIL eliminator is, is a simple RC circuit - and only works for the rear cat monitors. Hardly a perfect signal, as the PCM can no longer monitor the health of the cats.

You need to bone up on O2's and their functions, I suggest a visit to Bosch's website, and Motocraft's ( OBDII primer for your model year is good ). There's a ton of other resources available too; just use Google to find 'em.

Example: http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdi...&menuIndex1=17

You can't use Mil eliminators on front O2's - these sensors provide absolutely necessary feedback data to the PCM to allow it to control your air-fuel ratio ( A/F's). Defeat those sensors and your truck will run horribly. And you will set codes. If you replace these with a static RC network, no dynamic A/F closed loop operation will be possible.

Rears - yes some folks have deleted those & replaced with Mils, but the best bet is to just leave them in place in their original positions, regardless of what exhaust mods you make. There is no benefit whatsoever to removing them. None. Use bungs - but keep those puppies in there.

If you insist on ignoring this advice, there are plenty of circuits published online. Google, again.

I won't even go down the Federal emissions law road ...

hey buddy, just to let you know, leave the two front 02 sensors alone. They are very important. I believe you want to put 02 sensor simulators on the rear two 02 sensors. That will get rid of the check engine light if you remove your cats. I did it on my chevy, and it worked great. And it sounds good, and the juice is worth the sqeeze!

i do not know who makes 02 sensor simulators for a NBS Ford.

just one question, what are bungs? how do they work?

Bungs are the threaded fittings you weld onto exhaust piping to screw your O2 sensors into.
