just finished putting mine all together and it sur ewas a pain in the A$$ but i spent about 17 bucks on the parts and after 1000 trips to the grinder to get the one side to fit in the fender hole i got it all done. waiting for battery to reset the computer now, will post results later tonight.

 

drove about 50 miles and from what i can tell i have better throttle response and a little bit more higher end acceleration

I think im going to do this tomorrow. what does the silencer look like on the 4.6L 06's?

 

I just took out my silencer. I found it to be easiest to put a pair of needlenose pliers on the seam of the silencer and twisting. This split the seam and made it much easier to bend. now for my Gotts

I have a CEL after doing this mod... Code P0508, "probable cause: vacuum leak on engine, dirty throttle body, IAC motor defective, Poor electrical connection to the IAC valve" what do u guys think?

 

I'm about to do the gotts, I got a question though???? I have an edge evo with the
level II tune installed. Is it safe to unhook the battery to reset the computer leaving the tune installed... or do I need to set it back to factory tune when I disconnect the battery?

 

You can disconnect the battery with the tune installed, but you do need to unplug the monitor any time you disconnect the battery.
