if i buy a throttle body spacer and put it on my truck will it save gas use more or really make no differance

Yup cai,exhaust and a tuner. Gears are your best bang for the buck but doesnt add hp but will give you better acceleration.

 

thats what im doing im putting a k and n 57 series on with a jet tuner chip a mass air flow sensor and may be the throttle body spacer

 

The throttle body spacer is nothing more than a paper weight! Save your money. Go with a good CAI and a good exhaust system. Those 2 things alone increased my gas mileage!

 

I have a JET chip in mine and all it really did was increase throttle response and shift firmness, I bought mine for $75 used and I love it for that price! ALso got a CAI and dual exhaust, definetly woke the truck up. Put high performance coil packs on it as well. Mileage in CITY is around 16 no clue on Highway MPG yet.

 

A TBS will not increase gas mileage or horsepower, however it will lighten up your wallet...
