X pipe w/ true duals
Magnaflow x pipe dimensions?
Does anyone know the center-center dimension on the Magnaflow X pipe? The product description is:
2.25'' Inlet I.D.
Dual Inlet/Dual Outlet
2.5'' x 4'' Center Core
12'' Length
Stamped Stainless Steel. I didn't know if the 4" center core was the center-center dimension.

Appreciate it Phil. I thought I would measure my existing true duals and see their spacing about where the x pipe would go. I don't want to spend the money for rerouting the pipes to fit the x pipe. You know what I mean.
Heres mine:

Before the X pipe, My truck just had a deep obnoxious rumble. Now, it has more "tone" and a smoother sounding exhaust. I like it..

I found a site that sells the x pipes pretty cheap: http://moesperformance.com/index.php...roducts_id=993
free shipping too. I think I am going to do just straight pipe with either 2" or 2.25" all the way back and just have one of those welded towards the front somewhere.

xpipe
I would like to do a x-pipe also, should it be placed close to/or farther away from the cats. Also will it make a difference in gas milage? a friend added cat back duels and it seemed to hurt his gas mileage- he doesn't have a x-pipe though? Thanks

A properly placed x-pipe & exhaust should increase gas mileage. Does your friend have true duals or just a y-pipe dual exhaust?
