Flowmaster vs Magnaflow

If you won't believe someone that's done the dyno pulls on the different exhausts, there's not a damn thing that anyone here outside time/date stamped pictures holding up the results will say to change your mind. You would probably accuse them of fabricating the whole thing even then.
You are obviously biased to Flowmaster because you either have reading comprehension problems or you sell the things.
Here's one for you.... go spend your dime on a dyno to test them both out and then you can call people liars about what their personal seat of the pants experiences are.
I personally could give two squirts what you believe.
If someone wants i have 2 flows laying in the garage that i am willing to cut open because they will never go on another vehicle of mine!!!!!
Yes baffles restrict power over straight through!
This is a never ending battle

Hers one for ya put the same parts on identicle vehicles except exhaust. The truck with the maggies will show the one with flows the tailights.

"I felt a difference" doesn't count.

Im not saying that the magnaflow causes power loss. I know it improves power, but the flowmaster improves power too. I don't think that either are bad mufflers. Mags are made of stainless and flows are made of aluminized. Stainless is a better material for dealing with long term salt conditions.
The baffles actualy help scavange gasses. The baffles are a V shape and when gasses pass by the V is causes a ventury, and it almost works like a vacume.
Flows have the crappy V baffles and mags have the crappy cotton ball packing. (not really made of cotton). This will never end
. I want to see dynos of two exact vehicles, one with mags one with flows. You cant realy race them because the drivers would vary results.
flowmaster sucks end of story. I wish i could get my money back. I would rather someone $100 bucks to take me out back and beat the **** out of me with a louisville slugger than buy another flowmaster muffler

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 06STX a 460 huh
I dunno i guess every truck is dif but i know it did not work well for me.I don't need a dyno to show that anywhere i hit the gas it has better throttle response by alot. The main place i notice is at take off and mid range

Until then, everyone here has an opinion as valid as yours and the numbers are against you.

Exactly.......now back to your regular programming!
so it sounds like most people are in agreement that Mags will give you some low end and Flows will take that away. So with that established- why do people buy the Flowmasters?
I am asking this question because I plan to do my exhaust in the next two weeks. If Flows give a more aggressive and throaty sound, I would almost live with the low end loss. It sounds like the Mags might not be loud enough?
Is that why there are so many people with the Flowmaster?

If you like a throaty sounding exhaust, not too loud but is definitely there, get Flowmaster 40. If you want to barely realize you have something more than stock, get a Magnaflo. They get Flos for the sound. I would not have anything else.
