Did my Maggys get louder?

You guy's probably have never heard of one of these before but I just installed a CAI called a Air Force One that I just received from a place you also probably never heard of called Troyer Performance and I swear my exhaust(Magnaflow) has changed it's tone of voice!!! Has it or am I just hammerin' it too much so I can hear that sweet sound?

Those are popular names in aftermarket. The noice you are hearing is probably the intake noice. CAI are louder than stock.

Yes, adding an aftermarket air intake can infact change the tone of the exhaust.

Im a diehard suzuki guy but if I have the color option I won't be seen on a yellow bike . Suzuki yellow isn't a regular yellow though. The white ones fly better for sure, and last time I checked they were all prety fast.

Can't argue with that! Have you done any mods to it yet? So far I've done the following to my '03: HMF Ballance Pro full system, UNI filter with lid off, carb mounted pull choke, Alba jet kit, 13-41 gearing, Maxxis Razr 2s front and back, HEP LED brake light, Yoshimura front bumper, PRM 1/4" Z-Plate skid, PowerMadd handguards, Pro Taper SE handlebars with Rox 2" risers, and replaced the "black blob" with a dirt bike kill switch for the start button.

Check out www.z400central.com if you have never been there. The forum is dedicated to the LTZ/KFX/DVX with a LOT of really knowledgeable guys.

I got it in March, so nothing yet, but I did do some custom work to the factory exhaust, it helped. I really need to start working on the bike instead of the truck. 450's are killing me in the straitaways. I have spent some time on that site too.

Me too. Bought the bike in 12/06, discovered this site in 01/07, and have the trk mod bug ever since.

I just ordered all new yellow plastic!!!!

Try the special adapter called a widget arm conector from TP so you can use your CAI thats on your trk on your bike too!!! It sticks out a little bit but you get use to it!!!!

I would have loved to spend the extra $2k on the LTR. JK. I hope to get one in the future, or maybe put a stroker crank on my Z.
