Awesome. I got a 12226 muffler. I might go get it installed on my lunch break tomorrow. But if I don't do it tomorrow I will get it installed on Tuesday. I think it'll sound fantastic. I'll let you all know.

I couldn't wait 'til lunch or 'til Tuesday. I got it installed before work this morning and It's quieter than I thought it would. But I did have a straight pipe until this morning. I'll update in a couple of days. Thanks for the support.

Yeah, just for kicks when I had my system off, I ran the truck to see how loud it was. I was suprized that it really did not make 2 much of a difference with the 16614 and open from cats.

Now mind you the tone is MUCH better and it seems more to sing than 'after cat-open pipes' was. It was certanly not open headers, which what I was expecting. I guess I am too naive. I never realized the cats did so much to the sound.

Okay. So far after my drive home from work. Which is 60+ Miles. I noticed a better low end response from my truck with the muffler on. I regret ever going straight pipe. I should have just got the muffler from the start. I notice the rumble but like I said. It's quieter than I thought. It is still smelling kind of bad from the burn-off of the new muffler. But I know it will go away tomorrow most likey. I'm happy with my purchase. For those of you wondering cost. Mufler $53.73 delivered + $60 install = $113.73 for a new exhaust setup. Every muffler shop will be different pricing. I know I could've got it installed for cheaper if I had called around. But I couldn't wait. Sorry for the novel. I'm done now.

Wow! $250 cheaper than mine but mine was a system vs you already had the system, just put in the muffler. Yeah mine has already burned all the oils.

I noticed this morning that my drivers side has a slight slant to the outside. The tip is level and the right extension so I will have to go back in. Wow what a pain it is to have OCD. J/K
