Hi.

Here we go again, Z.

Way to go - gut the cats to increase flow (perhaps), increase emissions ( absolutely), and then plug it all up again with a FartMaster 40

The correct, socially responsible, non-redneck non-hillbilly way to accomplish your goal would be to use 2 Maggie hi-flow cats. Then add a real (performance) muffler.

Of, course, that means you'd actually have to spend some money.

Good job.

Cheers
Bubba

His goal might have been to make it loud as ****, and I bet he accomplished it!

I am sure he did as well as poison the environment and break the law.

MGD,
Gutting my cats DEFINETLY increased the flow. You do your thing, and I'll do mine. And Chester is right, I did accomplish my goal, and gain some power along the way. My cats were WAY clogged.

Cheers
Z

Whatever. I'm sure that your tuner doesn't pour extra unburned fuel into the atmosphere either. I'm sure you've never done a burnout right?

I have not done either. If your tune is dumping unburned fuel you should look for another tuner.

I have a Supercrew. It is a little heavy for a burnout. I have done it when I was younger in a 70 Camaro but that was a long time ago.

No wonder you don't want to pollute anymore. That '70 carb'd Camaro probably wasted a gallon of fuel for every gallon it burned! It's all good though. I bet you miss it.

It's according to how bad you want to do one! Pour a little water or oil (Peanut oil!!!) on the road and try it on that! It should help ya get started! Take a video, and post it here. See if you can put Neal to shame with a supercrew!

I do miss the Camaro. It was an RS with the straight 6 but it could still light em up. It was a rust bucket though and had seen its best days before my friend and I got ahold of it and drove it into the ground.
I wish I had it now. A body off resto would be a fun project.
