Just finished Magnaflow 16614
Thank you Hott Exhaust, they had the lowest price of anyone, when using "fordtruck8" in the coupon area, $365.38 shipped.
I had to run in and tell everyone, This is one hell of a rumble maker.
I had a gibson 9504, split duals, never liked it, you couldn't hear the thing, stock exhaust was actually louder.
But this Magnaflow 16614, can't wait to go drive it a ways, I really like it.
I got to stop this crap, a 56 year old man should not be wallering around on cool concrete floors, I ache all over. My girlfriend just gave me an 800 mg aspirin to stop the pain, god I hope it works.

i searched this forum as well as other f150/ford forums and found that i wasn't the only person who ran into this problem. the instructions clearly state that the kit may not work w/ trucks equiped w/ the tow package and modification may be required. i called magnaflow and spoke w/ a guy who claimed to be the magnaflow f150 online rep. i explained my situation to him and he said that he had never heard of such a problem. the funny thing is that if you use the search function on this forum you will find numerous threads pertaining to this matter.
while researching online i found that other guys had got it to work relocating the rear hangers by either drilling into their frame or tow package, and some welded new rear hangers/brackets to support the exhaust. i used the same hole called out in the instructions, but had to place the rear hanger on the outside of the tow package.
unfortunately, the circular portion of the hanger interfered with the tow package and caused it to be ****eyed and it also prohibited me from torquing the bolts. however, i did notice that even w/out the tow package, i would have had the same problem, unless i were to flip the hanger facing outward, which i don't think was correct (others on this forum have had the same issue as well). the problem is that the circular member of the hanger is welded too high up on the flat portion of the hanger, thus interferes with either the frame or tow package.
i was able to remedy this issue by placing 4 washers between the hanger and tow package. however, there was still very little (<1/4") clearance between the exhaust and spare tire. i even pushed the spare tire as far backward as possible to give myself a little extra space. additionally, the tips were as crooked as a dogs leg.
ultimately, i had to take the truck into midas to have them tweak the exhaust. those dogs charged me $200. i thought they were joking when they called to tell me the price. if i didn't need my truck ASAP (and it was a holiday wknd), i would have gone elsewhere.
the sad thing is that when i got the truck back, the tips still weren't symetrical w/ respect to the centerline of the bed, nor were the tips parallel. one side was at least 1.5" lower than the other. to top it off, the rear hangers were ****eyed and the bolts to hold the exhaust and tow package were loose, and they left a hydraulic line resting on the exhaust!!!
i was pissed to say the least. i called them back and calmly explained the issue and they said to bring it in. at first they told me that they may have to charge me to fix it. luckily they fixed it w/ out charging me twice.
when i picked up the truck they said the exhaust was very difficult to adjust. the tips are now straight and parallel and there is no interference in the undercariage of the bed. however one tipe appears to be sticking out 3/4 - 5/8" further back than the other. it is not real noticeable unless you look closely. i am debating whether or not i should have them unweld the tips and line them up straight. the slight offset is bugging the hell out of me.
I put the Mag 16614 on my EX. Cab FX4 a few weeks ago and found the install to be fairly easy. The only mod I had to make was because of the tow pkg. I just drilled new holes through the frame about 4" or so towards the front of the truck and mounted the hanging brackets there. Getting the OEM exhaust off was a pain due to rust, but a little WD-40 helped with that.
For alignment, I found that having a second person there to eyeball it while you adjust, will really help. I found that tightening up all but the back pipes and tips first, and then turning the back set of pipes (with tips on) with a pair of Chan-Nel-Locks until they are where you want them works well. Once your "eyeballer" says they look ok, tighten them and take a look for yourself.
I also recommend dropping the spare tire until you get to the alignment part helps out a lot also.
One last thing, I HIGHLY recommend the use of an impact gun when doing the final tightening of the clamps.
I'm extremely happy with mine and would recommend this system to anyone.

Just Finished
Just wanted to say thank to everyone who helped out with answering ?. Just finished a little while ago, and thats the sound that I have been missing. Only thing that I did, was cut the Passenger side hanger, lined everything up and welded the hanger where i wanted it. Factory tow hitch didnt really give me any trouble. Will get pics a little later, starting to get a little dark.
I cant weld stainless so a local shop did it for me for $60
