Best Intake with Magnaflow exaust?

What is the best brand of cold air intake to combine with a dual magnaflow exaust set-up(not true duals split at muffler)?

One website i visited said that a brand called "True Flow" is the only brand worth your time and money?( http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/cart/TRU20500.html ) is this BS?

I also hear form some threads and friends that some brands mess with some sort of intake box near the engine screwing up something or other. what is the deal with that?

Help is wanted i want an intake that complements my magnaflow and doesnt effect anything in the engine compartment.

many opinions and suggestions are welcome!

~thx~

i have been looking at the true flow myself. the foam filter seems to do a lot better job of filtration.

here is a video from trueflow.com that shows the filtration of different filters

im a K&N fan wont use anything esle so im bias but get wantever one fits ur price range the make foam prefilters for the oil filter like my k&n that do the same as he taking about but a prefilter cost like $5 and slips over a oil filter

or its your really tight on money K&N got a preformance drop in replacement much better airflow that stock fraction of the cost of a coldair

They make that look better than it is though. The volant kit, which I have, is the best IMO. I showed no loss/gain of power on the dyno over an open element filter, mostly because the hood was up and a huge fan was running. With an open filter, hot air gets sucked right in, but like the volant, only outside air comes in. I noticed a huge difference between the two driving in traffic.

I went with the AF1 because of TP’s recommendation; he says AF1 makes the most hp & torque throughout the entire power band

I have to agree with "built54", the Volant is better than the K/N 77 series setup which I had before switching to the Volant CAI. My truck only had the K/N CAI without the new Magnaflow SISO exhaust. Then I bought the Volant CAI and noticed a slight improvement in exceleration over the K/N, but not much IMO.

Adding the MagnaFlow SISO exhaust is what really did the trick....can spin my 285-17 BFGoodrich All Terrains on pavement areas that I couldn't before. Mileage has suffered because I can't keep my foot out of the pedal now with the added power gain. Don't look for so called 18 -24 hp gains that they advertise with this setup. All you really get is around 13 -15 hp gain and nothing more except for great V8 engine sound and better passing power.
