I honestly can't "feel" the difference but i'm sure it's helping. Took longer than expected because i had some missing rubber pieces. Af1 sending them now. I'm sure with the tuner, it'll be more worth it.

yeh... lol u dont feel much of a difference but it sounds better!

I just installed an AF1 on my 03, and i dont have the heat shield like he does, is that normal for my year, or am i missing a piece?

Nope, the intakes for the old body style don't have that heat shield, not sure why, though. I installed one on my 02 and one on my brother's 05 and that was one of the major differences. Also, the MAF's on the new body styles are way cooler than ours.
