Best place to buy a Magnaflow?

My friend just got one put on his truck and it sounds really nice. Who has the best price and what would be an average price to have one installed since I dont know how to do it myself?
Or anyone in DFW northern area want to help a brotha out?

its a 06 F-150 SuperCrew 5.5' bed with 4.6L

and realistically do you get better mileage by about 1-2mpg?

I purchased mine from hottexhaust.com right before christmas last year. At the time they had free shipping and a sale on the lightning exhaust that I wanted. I only paid 479.00 total shipped to my door. I believe most of the maggies are up around 515.00 now.

Anyway, my experience with the site was really positive. Would definitely recommend.

BTW...mine sounds and looks great!

www.hottexhaust.com is a great place you can get a single in dual out for 425 with the use of coupon code fordtruck8, an exhaust shop will charge you 50 to 75 to do the install

I checked out the site, and I liked it. I'll probably be using it, when I purchase my exhaust.

If you want to read the topic that the quote came from, here it is: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=248520

Hope this helped!

I am looking to put a Magnaflow cat back on my 06 s crew 5.4. Do you guys think I should put the dual rear exit kit on or the single side exit kit? Is there a difference in the possible horsepower gains and sound between the two. I know the dual kit has 3.5 inch pipes while the side exit has a 3 inch pipe. There is only about a $20 difference between both kits. Any ideas?

It's all in what you want basically. But, the si/so does have better performance.

Go to http://www.performancepeddler.com and enter code fordf150.net into the space for Wholesale Login Code on the upper right hand side of the page. The Magnaflow 16612 Catback system will show at $364.20 shipped. I have purchased the Borla 140136 Catback system for $483.01 shipped. It is arriving on Monday 21 Aug. I will post about the install and sound after that.

Not to hijack the thread, but are the Magnaflow's about the quietest nonstock muffler available?

Didn't accept it for me either. However, after getting the not valid message I used the links along the side and the systems show up starting at 364.20
