Question tranny slippage

I have a '98 F150, 4.6L with auto tranny
after installing a flowmaster with dual out, the transmission has been slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. Is this usuall? Does everyone with a performance exhaust have a shift kit installed at same time?

Cool

I've been playing with cars and trucks for more years than I will admit to - this is a new one...

I just can't see how installing a performance exhaust would cause a trans to slip - and only between 2nd and 3rd gear. I would get your truck to a transmission shop for a diagnosis. (Has your trans been serviced ever?)
