I have a 98 Lariat Supercab, 5.4 with 3.55 rear end. Had a Flowmaster catback system installed, PN 17222. I think Flowmaster has a much wider selection of mufflers to get the sound you prefer, quiet, loud, or louder. I chose between Flowmaster and Gibson, and I think the Flowmaster is great, more aggressive sounding than Gibson, but that is just my opinion. Performance gains are probably very similar. It just depends on your preference.

Gibson has a lifetime warranty on their systems. You can also choose between an aluminized steel system or stainless steel system.

SS is not available in the Gibson Super truck model. Just Galvanized. Probably a good thing I don't think I could have afforded it anyway.
