I have found a few threads here with the same problem. My right (passenger side) exhaust manifold back cylinder bolts are both rotted and gone. this has created a leak.

The dealer quoted $600 to fix. I managed to get the manifold off and even got the bolts out of the head using easy outs.

I ordered a replacement manifolf from Autozone only to be told later, after I paid, that they cannot get it.

Where is a good place to get one online?

oh, the old manofold is pretty warped from being broken for some time. That is why I need to replace it.

The bolts are aluminum, will it be ok to use steel ones for the missing two?

If you are going to pay $250 for replacement manifolds then why not get aftermarket headers from JBA or some other company. There are plenty available. The bolts will come with the headers. If you just want replacement bolts then you can use Stainless bolts from Lowes or an auto supplier. I have an instillation set from my JBA's and they just use a regular grade 8 (I think) bolt to replace the thread and nut on the stock manifold.

 

thanks for the info. I figured I could use stainless bolts.

I figured the cheapest solution, which I want, is to just use an oem style manifold.

I haven't gotten the broken bolts out yet, but have done that before.

do you know of any online supply houses that sell these and are reputable?
