Those are Stainless tips that I put on there. I replaced the chrome ones that were on there that rusted.
They are the polished 18" stainless tips. They also had a satin finsihed ones but I liked the shiny look. They are not as shiny as the chrome but close to them. They also weigh about half of what the chrome ones did.
If they salt and treat the roads like the did in Rochester NY in ND/NH you better go with the stainless ones. I lived there for 23 yrs and know what it does to vehicles every year. We had only a few storms here in NC the last few years and the chemicals from treating the roads and bridges ate the chrome tips up pretty quick on the edges.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'm moving to Charlotte later this summer and I am having my exhaust work done up here before I go. I was planning on stainless anyway, but love the look of chrome and didn't want to make the wrong choice before I move. Good move on your part, I like those tips!

No problem! Make sure you get good quality tips and not some cheap brand as they will look nicer in the long run. Be prepared as they will cost you more too though. You will be much happier with the weather down here. All the snow added together the last few years wouldnt make a dent in the weather up/over there
You wont have to un-bury your truck from the snow once a week.........Some other things are missed but others down here make up for it in the long run. Good luck with the move

I have a 2002 4.6 V8 supercab with dual chamber flowmasters exiting on the side in front of the tire on passenger side. I enjoy the sound, and love the way it looks. The main advantage I see is that your tips are less likely to get broken & dangle down looking redneck when they exit to the side. The sound is deep & has a good rumble when I get on the accelerator but quiet enough to not annoy me on the highway. I have had no problems with mine at all and I get compliments on them quite often with the nice oval tips (nice when they are clean). I'll upload some pics so you can judge on what you would like.
