Exhaust Tips on '97 150???

I have a 1997 150 with factory side exhaust. Looking for some ideas on exhaust tips. I saw a while back a NASCAR style rectangular tip on a model similar to mine. Anyone familar with these?

aside from the Gibson cat back set up, JC Whitney offers a single to dual tailpipe (resonator style-glass packed) that will fit. The ad reads

BIG BORE MONZA DUAL TIPS FOR TRUCKS
Sleek European styling and design!
3" tip diam., 10-1/2" tip length. Overall length: 19-3/4". Fiberglass-packed, perforated inner tubes for deep mellow tone. 16-gauge steel tubing with chrome plating and gloss black paint finish.
Item Description Unit SKU# 83ZX0416Y
Pacesetter Exhaust Tip for Trucks, Dual-outlet, 2-1/2"ID Inlet Each 83ZX0416Y $51.99

Locally I couldn't find a chrome 2.5" single to dual split so I made one.....2.5 reducer to 2.25 and the 2.25+ chrome tip screwed on to the reducer. It whistles a bit so to fill in the gap, I'm going to have it welded in place. The chrome tip, clamp and reducer was $30.00 and from Advance (aka Discount) auto parts. I gained a little back pressure because of the reducer but got more flow by eliminating the muffler altogether, which cost $35.00 to have done. I'm more than happy with the sound too by the way.

Wide ovals

Florida FX4 What manufacturer made the tips/exhaust system on your truck. I like the look. Is the system stainless, or aluminized. Thanks, FARLAP

I have Hedman Big Wazoo's. They are pretty nice. Mine are 2 1/2 inch in and 3 inch out. Round with a slash cut. The thing I really like about them is they are long, so you gotta look under the truck to see where the tips and pipe meet. With most of the normal tips, they are short, and you can see where they are welded to the pipe, which looks ugly and takes away from it IMO. You can get them in stainless steal or chrome.
