I really hate to say this, but......you really don't have true duel exhaust. What you have is a y-pipe at the end of the head pipes that has two separate pipes with mufflers running back. It's great from a looks standpoint and not too shabby on the performance end. To have real duel exhaust, you would have to purchase additional catylitic coverters for the second pipe.....and guess what, no muffler shop will do it without you signing a wavior because the Federal & state smog laws just don't allow such a modification...Yup, you'll fail the visual inspection at the smog test. I invite anyone who would like to see real duel exhaust to come by and take a peek at my 65 shelby...
Eh, who are you talking to? If you are saying we dont have true duals becasue we didnt have to buy extra cats, go look under your truck, the cats are before the Y-pipe where it splits into one, NOT on the single pipe that branches off from the stock Y pipe.
The only thing on that pipe is the muffler.

This came directly from Super Six motorsports:

For Stages 1 and 2 use any 1 1/2 or 1 5/8 shorty header and a true dual exhaust system with h or x-pipe using 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inch diameter piping.
