Question crosswiring addon foglights to headlamp switch?

I have non-stock fog lights and wanted to integrate them with my headlamp switch - I pulled the switch out and there's a receptacle in there with a connector attached...

I looked all through the wiring diagrams that I could find, but I can't seem to trace the harness back anywhere under the hood?!

Has anyone done this? If so, could you enlighten me a bit?

Thanks in advance!
Jay

hello, i ran into the same problem here is what i found...

-truck was prewired for fogs

-when light switch in truck is in on position (not park) it pulls out to activate fogs (mine did not so i replaced switch 2minutes) see link

http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...s/foglamps.htm

-wires for foglights are at front on each side.. go under truck on passenger side on front and look at horn wires there will be an un-used wire with blue connector that's it and a mate to it is on opposite side (carefull to mind your wattage)

-my original post was

hope this helps

Outstanding! Thank you My headlamp switch *does* have the pull-out for fogs option - same as was on my 99 Cougar. I've looked behind the bumper but didn't find anything - I will check again now that I know they're there someplace

Thanks!
