Radio And Interior Lts Blinking When Cold
Over the past couple mornings I have noticed my interior dash lights and radio lights "blinking" or diming at idle. It only does it for a minute or two after first starting up. Has anyone else seen this problem????? Pls Help...
check your fuses to make sure...
they hav'nt worked loose...then check your connections at the battery posts, nows the time to give them a good cleaning...apply a little dielectric grease to the terminals and it will help keep the corrosion at bay

I should have included this...all electric connections are clean and tight. The truck only has 4900 miles on it and I experience no other electric problems. It only happens after the truck starts for about 1 minute (when it's cold outside).
Hi NC
Years ago as you may know, that was a common thing. But not common anymore.
Run a charging (alt) out put test including the battery. If you cant do that then you might want to take to dealer. Its underwarranty. Just a guess?
Good luck....OT

Flukey Dash lights
I have the same problem - prod date 6/96. All else is fine, but my dash illumination fluctuated at start-up. All dash LIGHTS - not the indicators - finally failed. The thumwheel resistor on the headlight switch was/is shot. Now is the time to think about optioning for the auto dimmers....hmmmm.
