Can anyone help me out?

My air bag light stays on all the time.
My truck has the switch to turn the passenger air bag
on and off I have checked the switch for loose connections and have checked the fuse for the airbags.

I haven't taken it to the dealer "no warranty"

Could it be a bad switch? How much would a replacement costs?
Anything else I could check or try?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you have a parts store near by that will read the codes, you may want to see if there is a code stored, indicating the problem.

 

Thanks i'm pretty sure it's the same thing as in the link you posted. I'll get it checked as soon as I can.
