aiming foglights?

I had a co-worker in front of me on the way into work today and he complained that my fog lights were blinding to him in his rear view mirror. Mind you, he's about 3 inches off the ground in his Accord, but I was wondering if there's a way to check the aim of the factory foglights in these trucks.
BTW, I did the mod to give me Highbeams and fogs simultaneously and it worked great ( no, I didn't have the highbeams on when behind my co-worker!).
Thanks...

Well, to follow the general guidelines... Park your car 25' away from a wall. Make sure that horizontally your lights are aimed equidistant from the vertical centerline. For driving lights they should be 15" horizontally offset from the center, for fog lights I'm really unsure but I suppose they should be the same unless you want more of a wideangle spread. I'm unsure about this number though, since they are general guidelines for cars and F-150s are generally wider.

Vertically, driving lights should be 1.5" lower than the horizontal centerline of your [driving] lights. Fog lights should be 4" below the horizontal centerline [of your fog lights]. Which... should answer your question. Also, obviously if one light is higher than the other that is your problem. I've had the same problem with aux driving lights I've mounted on previous cars. One light isnt quite tightened enough and slowly vibrates and changes position until I'm pissing people off and they are flashing me... not the good kind of flashing though... lol

Thumbs up Easy

should be right at the light. I think there is a hex head rod sticking out the back of each lamp. I used a socket with an extension to fit.

Not sure what you're really looking for but here's a thread to kick off your search - - there are quite a few others with more detail.
This is for a late model F150. Try the search engine for possible 250 installs....

Best of luck.

F250:
The mod detailed above DOES give you fogs with brights. Also; "RebelYell" has a post in the same thread with the following info ....
" ... here ya go. simple and easy. Takes about 20 minutes using a dremel tool, but if you only want fogs on high without fogs on park, will take about 10 minutes. If you only want fogs on bright, remove the switch pod and splice the wire, and reinsert the pod, you won't even have to bother with seperating the switch pod or grinding the ramp. "

I was checking out the mods on your truck - I am interested in the center console with the sub - woofer

Any pics ?? What type of console - where did you get it from
I read another board member with a expedition console that did something similar, however I don't recall him telling me where he got his - other than from FORD

Thanks
