Left rear turn signal / brake light on my 2001 Screw is out. Dash indicator and front t/s blink rapidly when the left signal is used. Thought it was the bulb, replaced it, no change and the old bulb looked good.

Do I need to replace a fuse? If so, which one? I hate the idea of taking the truck to the dealership for a simple problem if I can avoid it...

check the bulb socket to make sure the bulb is making contact

 

I'm surprised this is happening on such a new truck, but I guess that means warranty repair.

A number of us have had this problem with the front signals with the problem being the multi-function switch in the steering column.
