Question Keyless entry code

Just traded in the 2005 Lariat for a 2012 FX4 ECO Boost. Love the truck but CARMAX never gave me the keyless entry code. What is the easiest way to locate the code? None of the paperwork has it nor is it in the truck.

A dealer can read it with a computer but will probably charge you. If the 2012 still has the BCM on the rear wall behind the back of the rear seat, it should be on a sticker attached. That's where it was on your 05 but not sure about the 2012s.

On the 2012, it's behind the passenger kick panel.

If your 2012 is a SuperCrew the rear seats are different than your 05. These backs fold down instead of the painful old method of removing the seat back.

There is a video out there by a strange guy that shows how. I added zip ties to mine to act as a handle of sorts.

It's not back there, max......

Easier to get to, but can be difficult to read - a mirror and flashlight helps.

I found minr behind passenger side fuse box. Remove the kick panel and then get a light n a mirror. Think there may have been a youtube video somewhere.

Gotcha. That's why I just quoted and replied to the previous post.
