I have a question since you mentioned the door ajar switch earlier. I know that if the truck goes over a certain mph, the door locks will automatically lock. Sometimes if I stop at a stop light, the door locks will trigger once I start moving again. I think it could be an intermittent door ajar switch problem, but wouldn't the battery saver relay prevent excess drain? I also don't have a problem with dome lights staying on or anything, so I'm not sure...

I really don't know much about the electrical on these models, my '84 is more my speed as far as electrical goes. The other guys who have responded here would probably know, but I think it might be time related. Seems like my locks will go even if I drive a little then sit at a light.

Anyway, update on the truck is that I've had no issues (beating my wooden desk right now) so I decided to finally throw in my MPT sf3 tunes yesterday. Need to do some research as the tuning options are completely different from what I was used to with the Evo. I know it's just different ways of saying the same parameter changes but like I said need to do some research. I will have one final update around thanksgiving as long as everything keeps going well.

As an aside, I think I need to call MPT as their street transmission setting feels like stock to me, will need to go to their performance setting. Once we get through this busy time at work (longwall move at UG coal mine) I am going to start looking into J mod. First impression of MPT 87 economy tune is more pep than stock and nice to have right speedo again but not mind blowing, but I didn't expect much from an econo tune especially with my new 35s. Still have my edge so I think I will compare tow tune to tow tune once I get dialed in on the SF3 for timing, WOT fuel and shift points.
