stumped over electrical problem
1998 Ford F150
I can't figure this out... Went to gas station. Got Gas. Went to leave. Put the key in the ignition and a tried to start the truck. Didn't work- specifically, it didn't even try to turn over. Heard a funny sound (relay buzzing intermittently) from the interior fuse panel, but the truck wouldn't start and there was no dash "activity" - lights, chimes, or otherwise. Radio sounded like it was being plugged in and uplugged (i.e. sounded like the cd was being inserted, but NO POWER otherwise). Dome lights didn't work and there was no power in the truck. when I put the key in accessory mode, I could lock and unlock the doors, but not roll down the windows, but the door chime would ding. I replaced the relay that was buzzing, but the new one did exactly the same thing. The battery is fine, and the cables have a good connection the battery.
ANY ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The only thing I noticed that seemed "normal" was that the airbag light was illuminated (although it got dimmer when I actually tried to start the truck)

Take a screw driver and touch both terminals on the solenoid, if it starts then its the solenoid, if it doesn't start then it's your starter or the wires that go into your starter, might have to wiggle the wires that go into your starter
