Just digging around, I'm not sure WallyWorld is that much cheaper - this battery was $80 - an Interstate with 675CCA is $95 (all prices before tax)

I've never used Interstate but I know people who swear by them. I used to use DieHard but I'm not sure how long Sears is going to be around.

a new "name brand" battery seems to have solved this problem - no more WallyWorld batteries for me. I got to thinking back - have had 5 in my life that I can recount - 4 were as expected, this one failed - that's a 20% failure rate - live and learn.

@SSCULLY - thanks again for your help!

Smile Battery draining

I have found through buying 4 batteries, 2 alternators, 500 bucks worth of checking out the radio is th culprit. It drains 1.5 volts per hour. I will know for sure tomorrow after my 3rd day of starting.

Fords Shaker radio's are trash after being used a while. They stick in the message and waiting for CD's to come out. I can hear it work, even when you shut it off. Hope I'm wrong but a lot of guys have had the problem in their Mustangs' Shaker 500's. After changing to new type radio's all is well. I hope so.
