1999 power windows

I have a 1999 f150 with 112xxx miles. Just recently my passenger window stopped working it went down and would NOT go back up, I bought I new motor for it thinking that's what the problem was. Unfortunately it is still going up. Will still go down but not up. Drivers side works fine. I checked to high current fuse under the hood and it checks out good. My manual does not list any other window fuses. Anyone have any ideas.

did you check the pigtail from the switch to the motor for power ?

This is that 2 pin gray connector that is on the motor, the side you want to check is towards the switch.

If it will not go up from either the drivers side or the passenger side, I would check for a broken wire behind the door panel. If the window dropped all the way down, you have a broken regulator, but if the window is still in it's track, has to be the motor or wiring.

What year is your truck? Also, check the index here under Electrical. This is in our Articles and How To section.
