Headlight switch (lights) in the switch

Post Headlight switch (lights) in the switch

So ive done the (Fog light mod on my truck) ITs a 2003 f150 xlt model but my light switch (lights in the actual switch)might be bad when i turn my lights on the headlight switch control /parking lamp lights on the switch it doesnt come on when i pull my fogs on the fog light (the orange light) will show but when i have my headlights on i can just bang the switch with my hand and all the green lights on the headlight switch will light up but if i hit a hard bump they will go off ?

You have a loose/broken electrical connection in the switch for the lights there. I don't know how yours are constructed, but it's common to find a cracked solder joint in switches like these. Banging on the device causes the small crack to close just enough to complete the circuit. Hitting a bump causes it to open.

I had a similar problem with the speakers in my car, they would intermittently cut out and I could usually get them back on by banging on the instrument panel. I finally took the radio out and found several cracked solder joints on the printed circuit board that the speaker connector plugged into. I had to use a magnifier to see the cracks.
