fault codes 97 4.2
hi , i have just read two codes from my truck . P1074 and P1071 ..... can anybody tell me what they are ???? thanks .

Did you really mean P1074 and P1071 or P0174 & P0171 ?

no I am certain they were P1071 and P1074....... would appreciate if u know what they mean . a friend who is a mechanic read these codes and said they were for the oxygen sensors.......thanks for any help in clearing this up for me before i go buy a pair of sensors....

Don't waste your money on new sensors. Do as previously instructed. You have digits reversed...
