My headlight switch illumination has been out for awhile, and I finally decided to track down the bulb. Thought I might be able to save someone some aggravation by posting on this.

Bulb is P/N F65Z13466AA available only from a Ford dealer, and has been discontinued. I just ordered two from a local dealer who had 4 in stock.
(I'm sure the extra $8.00 has just become insurance against any other similar bulb blowing for the life of the truck.)

Alternate solution is to change to an LED, but wasn't worth the hassle - and likely mismatch in color - to me. (HEADLIGHT SWITCH HOW-TO HERE)

Just received the bulbs in the mail, and the covers are blue, and not green like my originals. The dealer either gave me the wrong number or the wrong part. Not really that important, so a blue one's going in tonight. If it looks a little different, oh well.

EDIT: Oh, and good luck swapping the old cover to the new bulb. 12 years of use had the old one solidly glued/melted in place.
