Question MY FAN STOPS WHEN ACCELERATING

THIS IS VERY STRANGE. WHEN ACCELERATING, MY FAN WILL SLOW THEN STOP. AS SOON AS I TAKE MY FOOT OFF THE PEDEL THE FAN COMES ON FULL FORCE. THIS DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. I HAVE A NEW ALTERNATOR AND MY BATTERY IS STRONG. I CAN TURN ON ALL THE LIGHTS AND CRANK UP 600 WATS OF STEREO WITHOUT ANY EFFECT. SEEMS TO BE MORE RELATED TO VACUME??
I KNOW THERE ARE VACUME SWITCHES IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL SYSTEM.
ANY IDEAS...

You only THINK your fan is stopping.

It's the normal reaction to the time-warp which occurs when your beast enters 'the fun zone' during acceleration.

Are you positive that the fan is turning off?
I have a 99 e-350 with a v10 and it goes to defrost under moderate to heavy lead foot. When i floor it, it usually takes it about 5-10 seconds before the ac goes to defrost. This is usually caused by a loose vac. line.. My van just started doing this after i hit a dead deer in the road doing about 70mph.
