Federal Signal LED HELP!

Hi,
I have two federal signal 9 led lights and it seems to me that 6 of the 9 are burnt out. Does anyone know if this can be repaired? can i replace the leds?

I did code3 outfitting but I don't remember the FS9's,... maybe they weren't code3. I have on rare occasions seen led's burn out, but it is rare and I can't imagine what would cause them to burn out. Did you by any chance reverse the + and - to them? I have burned out individual led bulbs by doing that. At least they didn't work afterwards. (My own project) I don't think it would be very easy to replace the bulbs. They're not generally made very easy to replace because generally, they shouldn't ever burn out.

I don't know anything about your lights, but if "rows" of them are not working, it's possible the solder joints to the LEDs are faulty in those rows. I've had that happen on a "card" of 9 LEDs. The "middle" row was not lighting. I simply applied a bit of additional (electronic) solder to the connections for all non-working LEDs and they all work fine now. I don't think you have to be too concerned about overheating them either - make sure you don't have any cold-solder connections.
