Use a meter to find which side is the hot in Run / Accessory position power on the radio fuse ( the other side of the fuse is to the radio ), by pulling the fuse out, and checking the socket on both sides.
1 side will have power with the fuse out, the other will not have power ( that is the radio side ).
Install the add-a-fuse in the radio slot, with the wire pointing towards the side that did not have power.
Install the radio fuse in the lower of the 2 fuse slots on the add-a-fuse, install a 1 A fuse in the top, once you are done splicing this to your headlamp switch.
This is a diagram of installed correctly, and incorrectly

The new circuit ( the wire with the crimp ) is what is wired to the white w/ black stripe wire on the main headlamp switch. Pull CJB Fuse # 27 ( you don't want to feed power back into the MFS ).
That is all there is to it, anytime the radio can work, the fog lamps can work ( as long as you did the ramp modification correctly ).
