Not quite sure what you are getting at.

You only did the wiring change to the switch, not the re-cut of the ramp ?

Directions that the URL above point to :
http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...s/foglamps.htm

If you want to be able to turn the fog lamps on when the headlamps & parking lamps are off, you need to cut the ramp wider, as well as change where the power to the fog lamp switch is from. Not too sure what happens if you cut the ramp that far, and run into the cut for the autolamp position ( weaken the switch housing too much ??? )

Instead of wiring the White w/ Black stripe wire to the brown wire, you need to use another source ( i.e. an add-a-fuse in the radio slot ) for the power to the fog lamp switch.

This is what you should have for wiring :

The URL in post #4 is invalid.

The URL in Post #1 above, is to turn on the fog lamps even with the parking lamps off ( which is what I got from your post, being able to turn on the fogs when the DRLs are on ).

Re-read my post above, it has the info.

What do you have completed now ?

I have to ask, as this seems to be going in a circle.

If you want to be able to turn the fog lamps off :
OK, you need to finish the modification with the directions used for the URL you posted in post #1.

At the bottom of that page is this URL
http://www.svtlightnings.com/svt/how...s/foglamps.htm

Follow the steps on removing the switch, and cutting the ramp out of the back of the plastic switch.

This will get you to being able to turn the fog lamps on when the main headlamp switch is in the park position.

Also, you do know that the splice should be pin #2 to pin #12, you have the parking lamp powering the fog lamp relay at any time they are on, the switch no longer does anything. Is that what you wanted, fogs on all the time ?

what i want to do is to turn my fogs on only when in position when all the lights are off just by pulling out the switch. And to turn the fogs on and off when in the parking lamp position and still be able to turn them off and on when the DRLS is engaged.

So if you have the ramp modified, as I posted above, you need to wire the white w/ black stripe wire ( pin #2 ) to a hot in run circuit.

This is why I suggested to install an add-a-fuse in the radio slot.

Prior to wiring the white w/ black stripe wire to the add-a-fuse in the radio slot, remove the CJB ( aka Central Junction Box , cab fuse panel ) fuse # 27

The Add-a-fuse is installed in the fuse slot for the radio, it creates a new circuit from the power side that the radio uses. You are not using the fuse for the radio for this.

The fuse for the radio is hot in run & accessory positions. This is when the fog lamps would be able to be turned on, using the add-a-fuse in that slot.

If your fog lamps are working with just the parking lamps on, you did not change it back to the OEM setup ( post #10 above ).
- Is there a jumper installed on the back of the main headlamp switch ?
