I have a neighbor that borrowed my Screw a few months ago and locked the keys in so i gave him the access code. I never made up a secondary and now have a concern.
As far as I know, you are stuck with that code. You might question your dealer about it.

Driver's side floor.

Looking up behind dash. That white box has a 5 digit code on it.
Left side of picture is the ratchet mech for the parking brake.

You have the CSM in the 2003, it is an easy direct change of your CSM to another CSM ( make sure it is a CSM, not a RAP they are not 1:1 pin compatible ).

The only other "programming" required is to program your RKE fobs to the new CSM, the procedure is in the owners manual for this process.
No other programming or trip to the dealer / shop is required. The CSM is a self contained unit that is connected into the power door locks.

'01 to '03 MY F-150s have the CSM, so any XLT with RKE or Lariat in a junk yard should have what you need for cheap.

The online parts dealers and parts.com do not list the RKE components for a 2003, so I have no idea what a new CSM goes for from Ford. Maybe a call to one of the Ford Dealers that sell parts online, if you want to be sure of a working part, or if you would rather have a new CSM vs. used.

Thanks, this sounds expensive.
