93 F150, Key On, Parking Lights On

Hello. I recently noticed when my ignition is in the on position or in the accessory position my parking lights come on. A friend said it could be a bad headlight switch. So I replaced it. Same problem. I did notice when I turn the key on one of the wires has power to it, but only when the key is on. I think it was a yellow wire. I will check again tomorrow. Is this normal? I also noticed when I turn the dimmer to dim the dash lights the parking lights will go dim then go out. We've had a lot of rain recently. I did see some water laying on the floor below the quarter windows (super cab truck). I also had both kick panels off when I was installing my stereo but I didn't notice any water behind the panels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I unplugged the yellow wire with black stripe from the harness. This wire was causing the headlight switch to get hot and was causing the parking lights to stay on when the key was on. Doesn't seem to make a difference unplugged. I will find a schematic and trace this wire down. Problem temp. fixed.

Problem solved. The problem was in the adapter harness I was using. Went with a Scosche FD02 adapter. Basically the same adapter but it combines the illumination wire with the dimmer wire and eliminates the dimmer ground wire.
