Circuit Breaker vs Fuse

You guys got an opinion on this? I just bought a fan relay kit from Painless Wiring, and it comes with a 30 amp circuit breaker in the hot wire between the battery and the relay instead of a fuse mount. Never used one before. Thoughts on this?

depends if it is the auto reset type, or the push button ones.

The push button reset ones work fine, unless they get carbon on the contacts, and start to trip more often.

Power windows used to have circuit breakers, and mfgrs went to fuses instead.

It should not be that hard to change to a Maxi fuse holder if it becomes a problem ( or you want that out of the gate ).

Little Fuse makes a Maxi Fuse holder that has lugs on it for connecting with ring or fork terminal ends.

It's the auto reset type...not a pushbutton.
