So I’ve never noticed any funny stuff before until about 2 mts ago I pull into the drive way at like 2mph and see the needle jump to 30mph and back down to zero weird stuff. I never noticed a cable so I would guess its pcm controlled. It’s a 2001 Expedition 4x4 5.4L 4R100 now at 120k miles on the dot. It’s been a little hard to start in the last few months but I think that another problem altogether.
Any ideas guys

 

Maybe weak battery? I think I'd at least get it load tested.

I also think this would be better addressed in the electrical section, so I'm moving it there.
